In 2010, Sandy & I started seriously praying about how God wanted to use us personally over the next 10 years of our lives. CALL and PURPOSE MINISTRIES was birthed as a result of those prayers.

As pastors, serving in local churches for over 30 years, we've known too many people, ourselves included, whose biggest stumbling block in following and serving Jesus was our unawareness of our unique God-given call and purpose in our lives. We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ and the people who make up His Church are GOD'S PLAN A when it comes to successfully reaching out to a lost and dying world, renewing and rescuing people from a destiny of darkness and despair. We also believe that many who follow Christ today are wandering aimlessly from church to church, conference to conference, looking outwardly for answers and direction for their personal lives, when actually God is hoping we might simply STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN for what the Holy Spirit has always had for us! First, and foremost, we must begin by returning ourselves to the centrality of Christ, restoring Jesus to the very center of our lives. Secondly, as God renews us with His powerful presence, we find that His presence always comes for a purpose. It's in that purpose of God, we find our true selves and why we were born for a time such as this.

We believe that God wants each of us to embrace our lives as being God-created, Jesus-centered, and Holy Spirit-empowered. We are called to be followers of the incarnate Christ, planted with other believers as Kingdom-oriented communities in our cities for a unique God-given call and purpose. We believe that as we faithfully love God and serve our community,  God is calling men, women, and children to be "sons (and daughters) of Issachar" (see 1st Chronicles 12: 32). People who know the uniqueness of the times we live in, and know specifically what to do during this time.

Our goal at CALL and PURPOSE MINISTRIES is to come along side you and the church community you are connected with, and encourage you to discover, embrace and walk out your unique God-given call and purpose. We believe as you successfully enter into your call and purpose for God, joining with others who are doing likewise, GOD'S PLAN A (He has no PLAN B, by the way!) of RENEWING and RESCUING our world can better be accomplished for His Name's sake.
